Remodel blues...

Ever since I bought my first place here I had wanted to get some new flooring and now I have finally bit the bullet and done so. Well I guess I should say that I'm in the middle of it right now. I decided to have laminate wood put down through all of the main living areas (much easier to clean up when you have pets) and then tile in the bathrooms. The thing is, to save some money I decided I'd do some of the tear out work myself. Now that I'm finished I think I would just spend the money and have someone else do the work. Here's some pictures of how it went:

Ok to be fair I didn't demo the bathrooms but the rest of it was exhausting enough! After moving all of the furniture, ripping up the carpet, pulling out the tack strips, and finishing it off by pulling up all the particle board in the kitchen I was exhausted. I guess I should have asked for more help :). When I finally get the house put back together I'll show it off....
